James Leroy Taylor born March 13, 1942 passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2025 surrounded that week by his daughters Julie and Sarah, and brother Gary. He was known as friendly and talkative to all that would listen.

As a life-long Milwaukee resident, Jim was a fan of the Brewers, Bucks and Green Bay Packers. Even flashing a big grin and a thumbs up upon hearing the Packers had won a few days before he passed.

When not watching his favorite teams, Jim enjoyed coin collecting and bowling. He was proud of his extensive coin collection and membership in The South Shores Coin Club serving as President and Vice President. His favorite sport was bowling and he was lucky enough to have a 300 game in 1984.

After graduating from Bayview High School he went on to earn a Business Management degree from Milwaukee Stratton College.

Jim enlisted in the U.S. Nasal Reserve and was called to active duty in 1965. Jim proudly served his country aboard the USS Mauna Loa with tours in the waters of the Mediterranean and off Vietnam.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Le Roy William and Mildred Taylor and two grandsons, Caleb Andrew Trudeau and Johan Galen Peters. He is survived by his son Bradley Lee and daughters Julie Ann Taylor (Mitch Bass), Sarah Taylor Peters and Joanne Elizabeth (Stephan)Roberts. Also survived by brother Gary Jan Taylor (Linda).

Further survived by good friends Micheal and Karen McAndrews and Steve Cywinski. Further survived by grandchildren Ashley (Tyler)Scott, Greta Peters, Katie Miller and Stephen Roberts, and great grandson Jason Scott.
