James Robert Tello, age 55 of Middleton, passed away on Monday, January 29th, 2024. James was born in Malden, Massachusetts on May 9th, 1968. He was the cherished son of Ann Leskiw and Robert Tello, the beloved husband of Regina Tello. James was the adored father of James and Ava Tello. Loving brother of Cindy, Robert, Steven, and the late Tina. Son-in-law of Regina Wasak. James was the owner of Massachusetts Insurance Agency in Middleton for many years.
James was devoted to his family and friends, always putting others first. There was nothing he wouldn't do for those in his life, always helping family and friends in need. James loved to vacation with his family and golfing with friends. Watching his daughter's field hockey games and listening to his son play the guitar were the highlights of his days. He enjoyed his time alone with his beloved wife, often traveling the world and creating cherished memories. He loved grilling in the backyard and relaxing in the pool.
Friends and family are invited to attend James' visitation on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 2 to 6 pm., at the Rocco Salvatore & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St, Everett, MA 02149. His funeral Mass will follow on Monday, February 5, at 10:30, at St. Agnes Parish, 22 Boston St., Middleton. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Face It Foundation. www.faceitfoundation.org

My husband and I were going to our favorite restaurant in the North End called Nico´s for dinner. He dropped me off at the door and went to go park the car. I was walking towards the door and noticed to people sitting at the window. As I got closer I realized it was Jimmy and Gina sitting at the window so I put my face right up to the window and smiled. Jimmy looked as if to say who is this person, when all of a sudden he realized it was me, his cousin. I´ll never forget his expression and big smile as we both started laughing! My husband and I went inside and we all enjoyed a few laughs, catching up and having a drink together. I will never forget that and glad I was able to share that moment with him.
