James Rogers Thibodeaux

James Rogers Thibodeaux (Jimmie) entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Viola Thibodeaux. Son of late Mesmin Thibodeaux and Vernice Vige Humphrey. James was also preceded by two brothers Charles Thibodeaux and Raphael Thibodeaux and sister Betty Collins. Also, his great grandson Nicholas Walther, Jr. Survived by his daughter Cheryl Thibodeaux Holmes ( Chuck) and Granddaughter Emily Bowman. Grandsons Eugene Bowman, Donnie Walther and Nicholas Walther Sr. There are also numerous Stepchildren, Step grandchildren and numerous nieces and Nephews.

James was born in Opelousas, La. March 2, 1939 and spent most of his life on the West Bank of New Orleans, September 27, 1969 he married Viola Matherine were married 45 years before she passed. James's memory will live in our hearts forever. Arrangements are being handled by Family-Funeral and Cremation in Pensacola later we will have a graveside service at Restlawn Park, Avondale, Louisiana
