James Raymond Thomas Sr.,67, passed away on February 27th, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on August 8th, 1955 to the late Harry and Lois (nee Humphrey) Thomas in Cleveland, Ohio.
James attended West Tech High School. After his graduation, he served our country in the United States Air Force.
He married Kira (Graham) Thomas on August 2nd, 1997. They have been married for 25 years.
James was a business owner. He owned and operated J&J Exterminating, which he began in 1985. Kira and James enjoyed operating the business together.
James will be remembered as someone who always put others before himself. He had the biggest heart and loved his family dearly. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, deer hunting, and yearly fishing trips.
In addition to his dear wife Kira Thomas, he is survived by his children James Raymond (Susan) Thomas Jr., and Sara Thomas; siblings Gayle (Tom) Wolfert, and Joyce (Michael) Waldron; and grandchildren James Raymond Thomas III, and Julia Thomas.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no funeral services at this time. A celebration of James' life will be held at a date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
