James Thomas “Jay” Truelove, 60, of Collierville, Tennessee departed this life on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at his home. He was born on August 27, 1964, in West Memphis, Arkansas to James Ray, “J.R.” and Frances Joiner Truelove. Jay loved watching the Cardinals, Hogs and Cowboys play, spending time with Madison, Kinsley and the rest of his family and he just simply loved being a dad.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Jay is survived by his wife: Xue Leng Truelove of Collierville, Tennessee, two daughters: Madison Mincy of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and Kinsley Truelove of Collierville, Tennessee, one brother: Kevin Truelove (Julie) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Layton Mincy, Carter Mincy and Tillie Mincy and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 28, 2025, at 2:00p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.
Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00p.m. until service time.
Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.
