A well accomplished and respected man that was greatly admired by his family and friends. He will be missed. Those of us who had the privilege to socialize with him, knew his family meant everything to him. He was so proud of each and every one of them. And Roxie, you were his rock!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. Our deepest sympathy.

Dr. Underwood will always be remembered as a person who had a broad vision of life and he always thought outside the box. I fondly remember serving on the Veteran's committee with him and Jim Beasley and several others at KC when it was first formed. I pray for the family's comfort and peace during this difficult time. Rest assured Roxie and family he was well thought of in the Centralia and KC community.
