James R. Visconti, Sr.
On July 22, 2025, of Pittsgrove. Age 80. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Heath). Devoted father of Carol A. Visconti and James R. Visconti Jr. (Colleen). Loving grandfather of Jeffrey, Brooke, Shannon, Bridget, Austin, Claire, James III, J. Dylan, and Lance. Proud great-grandfather of Jax, Paxton, Elias, and Mackenzie. Dear brother of Francis Visconti Jr., Angela Visconti, Robert Visconti, and Anthony Garzia.
James Robert Visconti was born in Camden, New Jersey, and raised in Cherry Hill. Jim was a man who devoted himself wholeheartedly to his family. They were his greatest pride and his deepest joy.
Over the course of a 40-year career in the elevator industry, Jim earned the reputation for his hard work and reliability, but it was at home, surrounded by those he loved, where he truly shined. He found happiness in life's simple pleasures, riding motorcycles, talking cars, frequenting Maui, and enjoying a beer or two, but above all, it was the people he shared those moments with that mattered most.
We remember a man whose loyalty, warmth, and unwavering love left a lasting mark on everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
Family and friends are welcome to attend his viewing Friday, July 25th 2:00 – 3:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. There will be a time of sharing thoughts, memories, prayers, and love offered by family and friends at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in James's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
