Mary Irene (Hoffmann) Visconti, 98, of Latrobe, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Barnes Place.

Born April 12, 1927, in Latrobe, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Hoffmann and Mary (Hritz) Hoffmann.

Mary was a member of Holy Family Church, Latrobe, and sang in the choir. She loved animals and music, especially symphonic, opera, and showtunes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Visconti Sr.; three brothers, Joseph Hoffmann Jr., Frank Hoffmann, and Paul Hoffmann; three sisters, Helen Bridge, Bertha Otto Potthoff, and Betty Jane Schoming; a step-son, Charles J. Visconti Jr.; and a step-daughter, Helen Louise Hebrank.

Mary is survived by one daughter, Barbara A. Visconti, of Latrobe, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, LLC, 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Holy Family Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. E. George Saletrik as celebrant. It was so wonderful getting to know Mary the last 13+ years. She was a beautiful soul and I always looked forward to her letters. TJ, Gracelynn and I send our love, prayers, and thankfulness to God for allowing Mary to be in our lives. Rest easy Mary, you've earned your eternal peace.
