Terry King Obituary

Born April 21, 1970, in Latrobe, he was the son of the late Emerson H. and Edna (Nickels) King.
Terry graduated from Greater Latrobe Senior High School, Class of 1989. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was stationed in Panama, Washington D.C., and the Pentagon during the Cold War. Later, while in the National Guard, he served two tours in Iraq and was deployed to aid in the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. He retired from the armed forces after a total of 21 years of enlistment. Throughout his career, he had been employed as an IT Tech at Carclo Technical Plastics for 20 years and also worked as a security guard for Latrobe Steel. Terry enjoyed fishing in the Loyalhanna and golfing with friends. He liked playing computer games and loved watching all Pittsburgh sports.
Terry is survived by a son, Jacob R. King, of Fort Collins, CO; a daughter, Kennedy Lynn King, of Latrobe; a brother, Craig King, of Missouri, and a sister, Sue Ciocco (Jamie), of Latrobe.
