Born on July 10, 1949, in Canton, Georgia, Larry was the son of the late Harold Walker and Izola Bernice Martin. He spent many years working as a forklift operator for Shaw Industries, where he was known for his steady work ethic and friendly spirit.
Larry had a deep love for travel and enjoyed spending time visiting with friends. He found joy in working on cars and sharing stories with those around him. Through life's many challenges, Larry found peace and purpose in his faith-ultimately finding the cross and the comfort it brought him.
He is survived by his sisters, Gladys Wallis and Barbara Ann Esposito, and his brother, John Lewis Walker. Larry's wish was to be cremated, and no services will be held at this time.
His family and friends remember him with love, gratitude, and the quiet strength he carried through life.
