James Watson Obituary
Born February 22, 1941 in Wilson County, NC, he was the son of the late James Edgar Watson, Sr. and Beulah Hill Watson. Prior to retirement, Mr. Watson was employed by American Airlines as a fleet service clerk. He was a former longtime member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA.
Along with his parents, Mr. Watson was predeceased by a brother, Bennett Eugene Watson, Sr.
Mr. Watson is survived by his wife, Harriet Louise Watson of Myrtle Beach; two daughters, Jeanne Swindall of Myrtle Beach and Jackie Sansing (Greg) of Gurley, AL; three grandchildren, Lauren Harris (Preston), Allison Cupit (Ryan), and Carlie Sansing (Austin Allen); two great grandchildren, Harlow Harris and Paige Harris; one sister, Marie Gearhart of Wilmington, DE; one brother, George Wayne Watson (Debbie) of Lucama, NC; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Watson's memory to Springhill Presbyterian Church, Building Fund, 7335 Springfield School Rd, Lucama, NC 27851.
