James Martin White, 66, of Houston MO died on August 28, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. "Jamie" was born in Missouri but raised in Bakersfield CA before returning to Missouri as an adult after his discharge from the Navy. He met the love of his life, Diane, in 1985 and they married in 1994. Diane had three small children when she and Jamie met and, even though he was their stepfather, Jamie never thought of them as anything other than his own. After the Navy Jamie was employed for many years as a cook/chef and he enjoyed cooking for others whenever he could. Later in life he was employed as a driver for Landstar Trucking company for several years until he was forced to retire due to medical problems. Jamie was not afraid of death as he knew he would no longer be in pain and he would be spending eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Diane and their three adult children Bryan, Carrie and Jason. Jamie is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. There are no funeral plans at this time. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
