BOONVILLE - Mr. James Wesley Williams, Jr., 54, of Ridge Street passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024. He was born October 12, 1969 in Forsyth County to James Wesley Williams, Sr. and Rita Kimmer Williams. Mr. Williams worked several years with Candle Corporation of America, East Coast Millwork Distributers, Parkdale of Boonville; and recently with Vitro of Elkin. He was well loved and respected by everyone at his work and in the surrounding community. Mr. Williams loved collecting Dragon Statutes, shot glasses from around the world, and loved going to the beach. He was also devoted to his canine friends, Daisy and Lady. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father, James W. “Jim” Williams, Sr and by his brother, Marty Williams. Surviving are his wife, Lois Barham Williams, of the home; his mother, Rita K. Williams, of Jonesville; his sister, Heather W. Haslett; his aunt and uncle, Sissy and Ricky Gardner; and his uncle Lynn Kimmer. A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
