Jamiar Raquel Davis

Jamiar Raquel Davis (Boe) was born on October 5, 1984, to Robert Mathis, Jr. and Sherri Davis in Taylor, Texas. He was raised in Wyandanch, New York.
As a young child, Jamiar loved playing sports, especially football. His coaches, Coach Moore and Coach Steve, gave him the nickname Boe after Boe Jackson because he was so amazing in football. Jamiar also played lacrosse and did boxing as well with Coach John Carter. After several years in New York, the family moved to Austin, Texas, where Jamiar graduated from Regan High School.
Jamiar was blessed with two amazing sons, Jaylen Rubin (Mother, Paule Rubin) and Jarmell Davis (Mother, Raquell Adedapo).
On December 23, 2015, Jamiar met his wife, Sharic, which gave him three bonus babies Shanya, DJ and Sandra. Jamiar and Sharic were joined in holy matrimony on June 15, 2018, until his passing on January 1, 2022.
Jamiar was a diehard New York Giants fan but also a major gamer. When on the game it was serious and you knew it from the beginning to the end.
Jamiar never met a stranger and his infectious smile would light up the room.
Jamiar was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Mattie; maternal grandparents, Delores Faye and Calvin Davis, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Robert Mathis, Sr. and Nola Mathis; aunt, Tina Baby (Tina Davis); cousin, Justin Thomas; and uncle, Earl Davis. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sharic Davis; all of his babies, Jaylen, Jarmell, Shanya, Dj and Sandra; his mother, Sherri Davis; his father, Robert Mathis, Jr.; sisters, LaVette Davis, Jhoicelun Mathis; brothers, Afrikaan Frye, Dia Frye, Rodrick Mathis, and James Mathis; nieces Tir'zah Davis, T-Marie Davis and Sanaa Frye; maternal uncle, Calvin "Red" Davis, Jr.; paternal uncles, Paul Mathis and Lester Mathis; paternal aunts, Irma Zachary, Doris Patterson and Patricia Rivers; along with a host of many family members and friends.
