Jamie Binns

Jamie Lynn Binns, age 28 years of Niles, Michigan, mother, daughter, and granddaughter, died unexpectedly and altogether too young on Saturday, June 18, 2022.
She was born on January 24, 1994 in Niles to Michael D. and Cynthia D. (Sides) Binns, and attended Niles Community Schools. She was a productive member of our community, assembling the items produced at several of our local manufacturing plants, and was a sales associate at the Niles Walmart Supercenter.
Jamie had attended the Grace Baptist Church in Elkhart, Indiana in recent years, and expressed her belief in God. She enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music including hip-hop and some country. She was fascinated with cosmetics, had become quite an artist with her own makeup, and freely shared her skills with friends. She was described as a "people person" finding many friends, and caring for each of them.
Surviving family includes her children, Aubrey, Allison, Ryan, and Makaiah; Jamie's father, Michael Binns of Niles and her mother, Cynthia who has moved away from Niles; Jamie's grandparents, Richard and Marian Binns of Niles; her siblings, Tiffany Roberts in Florida, Aaron Binns in Louisiana, and Destiny Lewis of Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a wonderful circle of great friends including Jalen Johnson, Kayla Godfrey, and Kasey McGraw.
The funeral service for Jamie Binns will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Halbritter-Wickens Funeral Home, 615 East Main Street in Niles with Pastor Jim Wing of Niles officiating. The services will be available livestreamed at: https://www.facebook.com/halbritterwickensfuneralservices/.

Jamie was a loving, caring, people person, who continued to love and care for folks even when challenges made her life difficult. She accepted many losses in her life, which made her appreciate even more the faithful love of friends and – more than anyone else - her father; and Jamie expressed her belief in a Heavenly Father, God, the author of Love.
