Jamie Rene Madone-Kendall passed on to the moon and stars on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Jamie was born May 22, 1971 in Canon City, CO to the late Jim and Connie Madone. Growing up in Canon City, Jamie soon became a spirited soul. After high school, Jamie and Rusty Cupp had two children, Danika Cupp and Dakota Cupp. Though Jamie and Rusty were high school loves, it was not meant to be. That is when Jamie met the late Stephen Kendall. The two became best friends and often referred to the other as the love of their life. They enjoyed a life well lived together for over 21 years.
Jamie became ill in 2015. She fought a very hard battle against Guillain-Barre syndrome. She surpassed many hurdles and still had a bright smile on her face. Even through the illness, Stephen stayed by her side until his passing in September 2023. In the last few years of her illness, Jamie always smiled big when anyone visited her. She would tell stories of her wild adventures when she was younger and was always eager to hear how the grandbabies were doing. She loved her animals and anything mythical and magical. Jamie loved her children and was extremely proud to be a grandma to her grandkids.
Jamie is survived by her daughters, Danika Cupp and Rolo Kendall; sons, Dakota (Caitlin) Cupp and Joshua Kendall; grandchildren, Kai Sadowski, Amelia and Berkli Cupp, Gabriel and Lauren Hall, an d Arius Kendall.
Jamie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Stephen; and parents, Jim and Connie Madone.
Jamie leaves behind a loving memory to those who knew her. Her smile could light up any room. Her two children and their families have requested any cards and flowers to be sent to Holt Family Funeral Home: 806 Macon Ave. Canon City, CO. As per Jamie's wishes, the family will not have a celebration of life.
