Jamie Lee Won McElheney, 51, died January 22, 2025.
A native of Seoul, Korea, he was a son of the late Elton and Dianne Smith McElheney.
Jamie grew up in Athens, GA. where he was a graduate of Clarke Central High School. He worked for his family in roofing , construction and property maintenance for most of his life until a traumatic brain injury slowed him down. He attended Oconee Heights Baptist Church and was a believer in Jesus Christ. Jamie was a quiet soul who enjoyed making others smile with his random acts of kindness.
Memorial services will be March 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, WEST. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Jill McElheney and their children, Jordan, Jessicah, Jarrett, Jennah and Jonah; a sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Rob Woolery and their children, Jake and Max; a sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Michael Jones and their son, Tully
In lieu of flowers, gifts can be given to Holt International Adoption Agency or Oconee Heights Baptist Church.
