JAMIE MIKAELSON
BAXTER CHAPEL-Jamie Renee Mikaelson, 46 was born January 12, 1979 in Smithville, TN, she died Saturday, September 20, 2025 at her home in Silver Point, TN.
She attended Upperman High School in Baxter.
Jamie enjoyed cooking, gaming, watching TV and eating out at restaurants.
She was "crazy" about her grandkids and enjoyed family "get-togethers" and playing board games. She also took good care of her pets.
She was last employed as a barista at the Tennessee Tech University Coffee Shop.
She was preceded in death by her father Aaron Jones, grandparents Walter and Marylene Youngblood Ashburn, Joe and Eunice Herren Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Niklaus Mikaelson of Silver Point, her mother Kaye Ashburn Jones of Silver Point, children Dakota (Candy) Morgan of Sparta, Damon (Tiffney) Morgan of Cookeville, Danie K. Morgan (Jaden Sullivan) of Kingsport, TN, brothers James Thomas and Tommy Thomas of Silver Point, grandchildren Aaron Morgan, Michael Morgan, Noah Orellano and Penny Sullivan.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home, 532 4th Avenue South, Baxter, TN on Thursday, September 25 at 1 PM with interment to follow at the G.V. Herren Family Cemetery in Silver Point, TN. The family receive friends Thursday after 11 AM until service time at the funeral home. Family members will officiate.
