Jamie Poor

Jamie Poor, 69, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 11:53 pm, Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at The Waters of Wabash East. She was born on November 15, 1956, in Wabash, Indiana, to James and Imogene (Stafford) Kerr.

Jamie married Carl Poor in Wabash on March 29, 1996, and together they built a life filled with love and quiet companionship. She worked at Manchester Foundry and later at The HF Group in Manchester, where she was known for her dedication and steady presence. Jamie was a true homebody who found joy in the simple comforts of life. She loved watching Syman Says Farms, collecting poodle statues, and spending peaceful moments watching hummingbirds outside her windows. She had a special fondness for giraffes, and her gentle spirit shone through in the things she cherished. More than anything, Jamie treasured time with her husband and her family, who were the center of her world.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Poor of Wabash, three children, Courtney (Kevin) Eakright and Tommy Sellers, both of North Manchester, and Morrey (Evan) Sellers of Markle, Indiana, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Terry Stafford, and sister-in-law, Shelly Stafford.
