Jamison Robert Clegg, 36, of
Torrington, CT, passed away tragically on March 11, 2026, following a workplace accident while marking underground utilities. Jamison was a man of immense strength and a devoted father whose final act of service defined a life lived entirely for others. Known by all for his boundless generosity, Jamison's life concluded with an extraordinary act of love. Following the accident that took his life, Jamison became a hero one last time by donating his liver to his mother, Christine. This life-saving gift ensures that his strength and spirit will literally live on within the woman who gave him life, a final testament to the depth of his devotion. Born in Bristol on October 30, 1989, Jamison was the cherished son of David Sr. and Christine Clegg. A known member of the Torrington community and a proud graduate of Oliver Wolcott Technical School, Jamison possessed a natural talent for technical work and an unmatched work ethic. After attending Briarwood College briefly, he dedicated himself to his career in construction, where he was known as a tireless worker and a loyal teammate who always "had your back". While he worked with his hands, Jamison lived with his heart. He was the beloved fiancé and life partner of Meg Palaia, with whom he shared a home and a future in Torrington. Jamison's children were the absolute center of his universe. He was a "hands-on" father in every sense, living every day to provide for and protect his three children: Bella, Jamison Jr., and Liam. His legacy of kindness, grit, and fatherly love will live on through all three of them forever. In addition to his parents, his fiancé, and his children, Jamison is survived by his brother, David Clegg Jr., and his wife Abbey Clegg. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as a vast circle of friends and colleagues who are forever changed by his bravery and his friendship. Funeral services for Jamison are pending and will be announced when they are finalized. Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave.,
