Frances A. Boyea

Frances A. (Mussaw) Boyea, 76, of Farmington, widow of Arthur J. Boyea, Jr., died on Thursday (March 12, 2026) in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family.

Frances was born on April 9, 1949, in Middlebury, VT and was a daughter of the late Frank and Audrey (Wheeler) Mussaw.

She was raised in Moriah, NY where she graduated from Moriah Central High School. She resided in New York before she and Arthur moved to Bristol in 1976 and then to Farmington in 1989.

Frances worked as the executive housekeeper for Centennial Inn in Farmington for 25 years before her retirement.

She enjoyed crafting and was a talented seamstress.

Frances is survived by two children: Eric Boyea and his wife, Shannon and Corina White and her partner, Lisa Selvaggi, all of Bristol; her twin brother: Frank Mussaw of Sherman, TX; four grandchildren: Joel Boyea and his wife, Stephanie, Michael Boyea, Steve Boyea and his wife, Julia and Cayla White; one great grandchild due in the Spring; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters: Lorretta Mussaw and Susan Simard.
