Richard Boyea Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory - De Pere on Nov. 23, 2025.
Richard (Rick) Paul Boyea passed away Friday evening, November 21, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 24, 1962, son of Kenneth and Rita (Hendricks) Boyea. Rick was a graduate from West De Pere High School and went on to earn his associate degree from NWTC.
Rick had an endless love for food, music, lighthouses, history, sports, traveling, and hunting. Rick will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and engaging facial expressions that could always make a room full of people laugh. A cherished memory for his daughters was being able to enjoy seeing Elton John live in Milwaukee, a performance by one of his most beloved music icons.
Rick is survived and deeply missed by his three daughters and one son-in-law, Amanda (Justin) Travis, Sarah Boyea, and Emily Boyea; his four siblings: Beverly, Joyce Fiel, Jeffrey, and Gregory (Carol) Boyea; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Rita Boyea, and his two siblings: Clifford Boyea and Judith Foster.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Caraton Commons, Corporate Guardians, Wyndemere Memory Care, Bellin Hospital, Moments Hospice, and Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory for the wonderful care and support they provided for Rick and his family.
Visitation will be held at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, WI on Friday, November 28, 2025, starting at 9:30 am with the funeral services following at 11 am. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in De Pere.
