Jan Weems Obituary
Jan Angela Weems, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Merit Health in Canton, MS. Her visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Friday, September 15, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Her Funeral Services will take place at 12:00 PM in our Funeral Home Chapel. Her Interment will follow at High Hill Methodist Cemetery in Forest, MS.
Jan was born on May 2, 1962, in Forest, MS to James H. Weems and Ada Ruth Risher. She was a lifelong resident of Forest and Harperville, MS. Jan was a Baptist by Faith. She loved the outdoors, collecting rocks and had worked at Sunbeam, Hughes Aircraft and Raytheon for over thirty-five years.
Jan was preceded in death by her father, James H. Weems. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Weems of Harperville, MS; her daughter, Bailey Weems of Harperville, MS; her sister, Vicky Weems of Harperville, MS; Rhegan Ball, whom Jan considered her daughter; two grandchildren, K.J. Flowers and Rhiley Holifield.
Pallbearers will be D.J. Martin, Chandler Powell, Robert Flowers, Michael Risher, Tre Martin and Caden Martin.
