In 2012, my family had through a hardship with housing and Jane took us all in (I, my mom, and my two siblings). Jane and my mother knew each other through working at BMC. The amount of genuine support, kindness, and generosity she exhibited to allow us into her beautiful home, I will absolutely never forget. That experience changed my life and I hope to be able to show the same kindness to other families in tough situations. I send all my condolences to Jane's beautiful family.

Jane, you certainly were one of the nicest persons I met in my life; you were always courteous, positive, nurturing, supportive, contagiously cheerful, forever compassionate and often willing to volunteer your good advice. You were a great example to those around you. You will be greatly missed. I have no doubt that you are in heaven, joining a community of angels.
All who knew you were touched by your special kindness. I am sure your good influence shaped our personalities.
My most sincere condolences to everyone in the Danforth - Bindley family. Love and blessings to you all.

Jane was 1 of 1. Thank you for being part of the News Team for all those years. There are so many memories with Jane that were impactful, but some of the most treasured moments are the most simple ones. Jane and I would often talk about food, she was just passionate, I'm just a fatty. She took me to her garden one day and wanted to show me the difference between conventional, organic, and home grown vegetables. She pulled out her fancy microscope and we sliced up some organic matter and peeped them. I still tell that story about cell density, literally told that story last week.
RIP, Jane. Your love, wisdom, enthusiasm for learning, and sharing will be dearly. missed.
