Thomas E. Beatrice

Thomas Eugene Beatrice (Tom), 67, of Georgetown and Swampscott, Massachusetts, passed away on September 23, 2025. Born on September 11, 1958 in Winthrop, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of the late Peter R. Beatrice Jr. and Joan M. Beatrice (née Sinatra) and a loving father to Peyton and Parker Beatrice.

Tom was a graduate of Swampscott High School where he was a three-sport varsity athlete playing football, hockey, and baseball. He attended Harvard University where he was the starting running back and punt returner for the Crimson. In both his high school and college football careers, Tom never dropped a punt return or kickoff return. Tom then graduated from New England School of Law and began practicing with his father, Peter, and brother, John. He eventually opened his own legal practice. In addition to his practice of law, Tom coached the Manchester High School Hornets football team and then returned to the Big Blue as a coach.

Tom raised his two daughters in Georgetown, Massachusetts. Although he actively litigated cases until his passing, he always prioritized his two girls, his friends, and his family. He enjoyed family trips to the lake, fishing, watching Westerns, cooking, listening to music, and birdwatching. He found particular joy in his recent heritage trip to Scotland with his daughters.

Tom is survived by his two daughters, Peyton and Parker Beatrice, as well as his four siblings, Peter Beatrice III and wife Carol, Gregory Beatrice and wife Donna, John Beatrice and partner Sergio DeSouza, and Elise Budd (née Beatrice) and husband Macdonald. Tom loved all his nieces and nephews, as well as their children.

The family is holding a private funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date with details forthcoming.
