Jane C. Brunner

Jane C. (Poet) Brunner, age 83, of York, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on December 4, 2025. She was the loving wife of Elmer E. "Bill" Brunner, Jr; together they shared 59 years of marriage.
Jane was born in York, PA on February 27, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Stuart and Charlotte (Miller) Poet. She graduated from William Penn Senior High School in York and worked as an office manager and notary at Shaw Oldsmobile. She later worked for Dr. Frantz in York. Jane enjoyed walking her dog, reading, and spending time at her cabin in Clinton County. She was also a member of Providence Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her loving husband Bill, Jane is survived by her son David Brunner; her grandchildren Danika and Samuel Brunner; her siblings Cynthia Miller, Susan Miller, Carol Shorb, and Stuart Poet, II; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service in celebration of Jane's life will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 2:00PM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, PA 17362. Interment will be private. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 1:00PM – 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
