Michael E. Emig Jr.

Michael E. Emig, Jr., age 67, of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully at home on February 3, 2026. He was the loving husband of Julie L. (Farrar) Emig; together they shared over 37 years of marriage.

Michael was born in York, PA on April 17, 1958 and was the son of the late Michael E. Emig, Sr. and Patricia L. (Wisner) Emig. He graduated from Spring Grove Area High School and enjoyed gardening, taking care of his flower beds, making homemade ice cream, time spent at the beach, and fishing and crabbing. Michael was his grandson's number one fan and enjoyed attending and watching their baseball games as well as games at the York Revolution. He also found great joy in decorating for all the holidays, especially Christmas, and was known for his festive and seasonal lawn blow up decorations.

In addition to his loving wife Julie, Michael is survived by his children Michael E. Emig, III and wife Amber and Danielle L. Grady and husband Dalton; his grandsons Ethan Emig and Dylan Emig; and his siblings Wanda Hull, Kenneth Emig and wife Connie, and Roxanne Crain and husband Tracy. He was preceded in death by his infant sister Dorothy Ann Emig; his brother Todd Emig; and his brother-in-law James Hull.

Funeral services and interment will be held privately by the Emig Family.
