Jane E. D'Alessandro, 92 of Milford died on April 14, 2024. She was born in Milford, daughter of Peter and Giuseppina (Tusoni) Milani. She was married to Louis D'Alessandro for 47 years until his death in 2000.
She is survived by her daughter Dianne and her husband Charles Patitucci of Hyannis, son Louis and his wife Beth of Florida and a daughter Elaine and her partner Ann Donoghue of Chelmsford. Her son William died in 2018. She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She and her husband were proud parents of 2 Eagle Scouts. She was the identical twin sister of Jeanne Loeper who died in 2014. She was proud of her family's military service. Her husband served in World War II. William served in the US Coast Guard. Louis served in the US Navy. Elaine served 28 years in the Air National Guard. Jane loved to knit and crochet.
She made many beautiful fisherman knit sweaters and afghans which she lovingly gave to family and friends. She was employed as a secretary for the Porter Shoe Company of Milford, Telechron/GE of Ashland, Dennison Manufacturing of Framingham, The Milford Daily News and the Geriatric Authority in Milford.
A calling hour will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 9 to 10 AM at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St. Milford, MA followed by a funeral home service. The burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd in Milford.
