Jane Eckelkamp Obituary
She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Eckelkamp; parents: William and Marcella Magnan; and parents-in-law: Ralph and Vera Eckelkamp.
Surviving are her children, Kathleen Eckelkamp of St. Louis, MO, Michael (Janel) Eckelkamp of Columbia, IL; five brothers: George (Nan) Magnan, Tom (Jeanne) Magnan, Paul (Christine) Magnan, Larry (Teresa) Magnan, and Stephen (Barbara) Magnan; sister: Betty (Tim) Magnan-Delworth; three granddaughters: Khloe, Aubree, and Kailey; and sister-in-law, Joe (Cathy) Eckelkamp. She was a loved aunt, cousin, friend, and former nurse.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 411 Palmer Rd, Columbia, Illinois. Burial will follow at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.

My sister (in law), Jane, is the ultimate care-giver. In addition to decades as an RN, my late brother and her husband, Bob, and I are eternally grateful for her loving care of our parents during their terminal illnesses. Jane was invaluable in allowing us keep them at home until they passed. Withot her help, I'm not sure that would've been possible. Plus, she was eager to help my wife and me after our surgeries/ injuries.
Jane is now able to give care in heaven to those she loved that passed before her
