Jane Harrison

Jane Harrison, age 89, of Wooster, formerly of Smithville, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, following a period of declining health.
Jane was born on February 2, 1936, in Lucas, Ohio, to the late Willard and Fern (Green) Moffett and graduated from Lucas High School in the class of 1954. She married Dwight E. Harrison on October 9, 1954 and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2018.
She worked for many years at the Wayne County Schools Career Center prior to retiring.
Jane was an active member of the Smithville United Methodist Church and her community. She was a wonderful baker, loved flower gardening and was an avid dog lover. Most of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Brookdale Memory Care, Wooster Community Hospital ER and LifeCare Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Jane.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie (Daryl) Snyder and Denise (Greg) Bing; four grandchildren, Christopher (Michelle) Snyder, Jared (Alyssa) Snyder, Emily (Jake) Adams and Abby Bing; and great grandchildren, Joel, Grant, Emma, Allie, Kinzie and Kayce.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight E. Harrison; father,Willard Moffett; and mother, Fern Moffett.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, April 16 at the funeral home, with son-in-law, Daryl Snyder officiating. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at the Smithville Cemetery.
