Jane A. Heidcamp

Jane Ann (Peaslee) Heidcamp of North Attleboro, MA; formerly of Plymouth, MA; died on November 17, 2025, at the age of 94.

Born in Pittsfield, MA on March 14, 1931, Jane was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Edna M. (Conklin) Peaslee, She was the wife of the late John Heidcamp.

Jane was educated in the Pittsfield school system, and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1949.

She was employed as a teletype operator with several major airlines in various parts of the country. She later became a claims examiner for American Universal and CNA insurance companies retiring in 1996.

Jane is survived by three children: Catherine (Bruce) Stiles of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; Robert (Maura) Heidcamp of Plymouth, MA; Pamela (Fred) Alfred of Attleboro, MA; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law: Gloria Peaslee.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Eric Sutton and her brothers: Russell Peaslee, Carl Peaslee and his wife, Patricia and her sister: Marion Sheridan and her husband, Frank.

All services will be private with burial in Hancock Cemetery, Hancock, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for the Prevention of Suicide, honoring her loving grandson, Eric R. Sutton, 199 Waters Street - 11th Floor, New York, NY 10038 or the Attleboro Animal Shelter, 27 Pond Street, Attleboro, MA 02703 where she had adopted her loving companion, Molly.
