Mrs. Jane Lamb Hudson, age 91, of Franklin, KY passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at her residence.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Friday, the 29th, from 6:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 29th, at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Jane was born on October 24, 1932 in Franklin, KY to the late Rudolph B. Lamb and the late Lassie (Trawick) Lamb; and 4 siblings, Allen King Lamb, Martha Lamb Perdue, Betsy Lamb Enders, Camille Lamb Fuller.
She is survived by her spouse of 72 years, Billy P. Hudson; 2 sons, Scott T. Hudson of Nashville, TN and William F. Hudson (Debbie) of Franklin, KY; 2 grandchildren, Joey Hudson and Jennie Hudson Kinnaird; 2 great grandchildren, Boone and Bohdi Kinnaird; sister, Jolinda Eljaiek of Westin, FL; sister-in-law, Jean Hudson Clark; and several nieces and nephews.
Jane was a member of First Baptist Church of Franklin, KY and a high-school graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School class of 1950. She was a retired bookkeeper for Hudson Farm Service Inc. In her free time, she enjoyed golfing, fishing and flying.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Mrs. Hudson’s memory to First Baptist Church or to St. Jude’s’s Childrens Hospital. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
