Jane F. (Strobel) Joyce, 90, formerly of Sharpsville, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 18, 2026, in St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage.
Mrs. Joyce was born February 5, 1936, in Erie, PA, a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Mildred E. (Bailey) Strobel.
Raised in Sharon, PA, she graduated from Sharon High School in 1954. After graduation, she worked as a secretary at Sharon Steel.
In 1957, she married Daniel P. Joyce, Jr., and they had four children. Dan preceded her in death on December 18, 2020.
After her kids were in school, she went back to work. Jane worked for many years at the office of Drs. Woodings and Stoudt, and later for Dr. Rauch, retiring at the age of 80. After retiring, she volunteered at the former Sharon Regional Medical Center for a number of years.
Jane was a loving and caring woman, kind to everyone. She helped anyone who needed it, often anonymously or unbeknownst to those receiving it.
Jane is survived by three daughters, Kathy Belmonte, Tampa, FL, Kerry Ayars, Bensalem, PA, and Amy (Del) Hemphill, Cheswick, PA; six grandchildren, Michael, Mark (Becky), and Matthew (Cherith) Belmonte, of Lutz, FL; Lindsay (Morgan) Brown, of Bristol, PA; Casey and Corey Hemphill, both of Pittsburgh, PA; and six great-grandchildren, Leanna, Reagan, Daniel, Eddie, Anne Marie, and Maddie Belmonte.
In addition to her husband and parents, Jane was preceded in death by her son, Martin “Marty” Joyce; and two sisters, Grace Stephenson and Mildred DeCapua.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff of St. John XXIII Home for their exceptional kindness and care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday (2-21-26) in the Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Rd., Hermitage, with Rev. James Power, as celebrant.
Interment: St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hermitage.
