Michael Ann Silverthorn

Michael Anne Silverthorn, 77, of Salineville, OH, formerly of Hermitage, passed away from natural causes early Sunday morning, February 15, 2026, in her home.

Mrs. Silverthorn was born January 30, 1949, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Crisan) Blasko. She was a 1967 graduate of Hickory High School in Hermitage and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Youngstown State University.

Primarily a homemaker, Michael Anne was a talented artist and a great cook who dedicated her life to caring for her family. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her devoted husband of 55 years, Charles M. “Chuck” Silverthorn, whom she married on June 21, 1970, survives at home.

Michael Anne is also survived by a son, Ethan Silverthorn (Jennifer), of Columbus, OH; Elissa Wilson (Christopher), of Columbiana, OH; two grandchildren, Beckett and Griffin Wilson; two brothers, Eric Blasko (Terri), of Hermitage, and Jon Blasko, of Sharon; a sister, Mary Muszik (Robert), also of Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael Anne was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with her wishes, a private funeral service was held in St. John Orthodox Cemetery Chapel in Hermitage.
