Jane Liederbach

Jane Liederbach, 93, a longtime resident of Mundelein, passed away on December 24, 2024. Jane was a loving and dedicated mother to her four children. Her commitment to others extended beyond her family, as she generously volunteered her time with St. Vincent de Paul and Santa Maria. Always active in her community, Jane could be found assisting with local food drives or ensuring the safety of children as a crossing guard. An avid reader, she enjoyed her work at a bookstore in Waukegan. Her love for color and life blossomed at Leider's Greenhouse in Buffalo Grove. Jane also served as President of the Friends of Fremont Library. Her kind heart and vibrant spirit touched many lives, and she will be dearly missed.
Jane is survived by her children Frost (Mark) McGahey, Steven (Karen), Lee (Carole) and John (Annette); her 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Martha Miskiewicz and her 3 sisters and her brother.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Friday Jan 3rd at St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church, 236 US Hwy 45, Indian Creek, IL with a visitation 30 minutes prior to Mass. Interment at Wood National Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to Sparrow's Nest, 357 Townline Rd, Mundelein, IL 60060 would be greatly appreciated.
