Jane Linscomb Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mission Park Funeral Chapels and Cemetery Dominion on Sep. 20, 2025.
Jane Kolubinskyj Linscomb, age 66 of San Antonio, Texas passed away on September 8, 2025. She was born on October 9, 1958 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Kolubinskyj, her brother Pete Kolubinskyj, and her daughter, D'Mitria Price. She is survived by her mother, Doreen Kolubinskyj, her brother, Walter Kolubinskyj Jr., her husband, Douglas Linscomb, her sons Leonard Price Jr. and Yuri Price, and daughters Tatyana Price and Savella Constancio. After graduating high school, Jane joined the Air Force at just 17 years old where she went on to be stationed in Mississippi, the Philippines, Guam, and Texas, ultimately settling in San Antonio, Texas after 6 years in the Service beginning her career with the United States Postal Service. Throughout her career in the Service and Postal Service, Jane was known as the light of her work centers, bringing kindness, joy, and laughter that often was centered on her tastefully chosen jokes. Outside of her professional life, Jane's greatest passion was her family. She was devoted to her husband and caregiver, and a loving mother to her children. She adored her grandchildren Jeremiah, Elijah, Preston, Taye, Lennox, Sebastian, and Gabriel. In her free time, Jane enjoyed baking, sharing, and eating sweet treats, listening to oldies, watching scary movies, and connecting with and building friendships with people across the world on social media and online gaming platforms where she built an extensive community of friends. Despite her many illnesses that later in life found her bound to her bed and wheelchair, Jane was a woman of infinite quiet strength, kindness, and a wonderfully quick-witted, spicy, sarcastic, and contagious sense of humor. Her jokes connected people from all over the globe, building her a community she cherished and in return, cherished her. She brought a smile and a giggle to all those around her and made a friend out of everyone she met. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2025 with Funeral Service to begin at 12:00 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels Dominion, 20900 I-10, San Antonio, TX 78257. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park North Dominion.
