Jane Lloyd Obituary
Our cherished mother passed away on December 4. 2022 after a courageous battle with an aggressive cancer. Jane is survived by son Guy (Christa) Lloyd of Colorado, daughters Jennifer (Evan) Karagias of North Carolina and Elizabeth Pinto of Binghamton New York. Her six amazing grandchildren ( Luke, Courtney, Zack. Matt, Link and Oakley) also survive her. Jane was preceded in death by her husband Richard Lloyd, parents George and Helen Scheckler, sister Mary Anne, brother Richard and grandson Alexander. Jane was born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and graduated from Saint Huberts High School in 1961, where she formed lifelong friendships with her "sorority sisters". Jane met and married the love of her life and they eventually settled in Binghamton to raise their family. Mom was a one of a kind with her outgoing personality, sense of humor and the ability to whip up a meal for anyone that"looked" hungry. Janes happy place was the seashore, a nice restaurant and being in the company of all the people that she loved. We lost both our parents within a month of each other, a true testament of their love. A special thank you to our favorite team on South Tower 5, your compassion and care was exemplary. Please join us on January 3, 2023 at St James Church Johnson City New York as we say goodbye to "Dick and Jane" The family will receive friends at 9:30-10:30am and a Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am. A lunch will be offered at the conclusion of the Mass.
