Jane Ellen Moline

Jane Ellen Moline, 75, formerly of Bemidji, died on Christmas Day December 25, 2025, at Good Samaritan Society care facility in Howard Lake, Minnesota after a battle with cancer. She was born on September 30, 1950 in Rockford, Illinois to Arthur and Loretta (Hanson) Smith. She graduated from Harlem High School in Machesney Park, IL in 1968. Jane lived the majority of her life in Tenstrike, MN where she raised her two beloved sons, Jeromy and Grant Moline. Jane worked at Palace Casino up until her retirement in 2012. Jane enjoyed wildlife and animals, and loved spending time with her cats. She was an avid reader, reading many novels over the years. She was also an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing her treats with others.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Jeromy (Marisa) Moline and Grant (Jenna) Moline; 3 grandchildren Vanessa, Ava and Evan Moline; sisters Carol Haeggquist and Sally (Allen) Letheby; nieces and nephews Wes (Robin) Myers, Heather Cook, Bryan (Sarah) Cook, and Nanette Cliff. As well as many great and great, great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Loretta as well as her sister and brother-in-law Gail and Dennis Myers. She is also preceded in death by a niece Corrina Cliff and brother-in-law Bruce Cook
