Jane M. Roesslein, 88, of Huntley IL, passed away on December 27th, 2024 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL.
She was born August 14th, 1936, in Oregon IL, the daughter of John and Opal (Hill) Sherfield. She married Lyle H. "Butch" Roesslein, on March 23rd, 1957 in Crystal Lake, IL.
She worked the farm and raised her family until going into retail. She worked downtown Elgin at a department store then retail jewelry at Springhill Mall for several years before retiring. Her grandchildren enjoyed going to see her there. She liked her vacations in Hawaii relaxing and enjoying the resorts.
She is survived by her children, Jeff Roesslein, Jill Roesslein, Darcy (Steve) Doyle, and Craig (Linda) Roesslein; her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Opal (Hill) Sherfield; her husband, Butch; sisters, Betty Chally, and Mary Williams
Private funeral services will be held at James A. O'Connor Funeral Home with burial in Huntley Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the First Congregational Church in Huntley.
