Jane Sellards Obituary
Jane Lyn Sellards, 86 years of age of Apopka, Florida, passed away on September 18, 2025. Jane was born on August 11, 1939 in Mobile, Alabama to Curtis Lee Pierce and Merle Griffin Pierce. She attended University of Southern Mississippi and earned a BS in Business Administration. She worked for the Social Security Administration and retired from JC Penney's Credit Card Center.
She married Jackson (Jack) Sellards on August 25, 1962 and they were married for 63 years.
Jane is survived by her husband Jack; her 3 daughters Kathy Charlton, Kim Mars and Kari Sellards; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Jane Perez. Also, she was a wonderful and loved aunt to numerous nephews and nieces and grand nephews and nieces.
She was active at the Plymouth Dayspring Community Church and in her retirement, she encouraged many friends and family with homemade cards. She was also the official memory keeper of the Sellards/Pierce families through the many scrapbooks she created.
Jane’s service will be this Saturday, 9/27 at 10:00am

In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution could be made to a Cancer Society or to Dayspring Community Church in Jane’s name.
