Janelle Goldin Morris

Janelle Goldin Morris, age 92, of Bremen, passed away on September 26, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Haralson County on July 3, 1933, the daughter of the late Stewart Goldin and Pearl Summerville Goldin. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bremen, and retired from the First National Bank of Haralson County after working 50 years in the banking industry.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Morris; a sister, Jane Townsend; and brothers, Max Goldin and Don Goldin.
Survivors include her daughter, Julie Morris Overton (Darrin) of Bremen; a brother, Ellis Goldin; a grandson, McLain Wright Overton, sister-in-law, Delores Goldin, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Services will be conducted on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Rev. Duane McManus officiating, welcome and a prayer by Kay Gann, and a eulogy by Suzanne Purser. Ben Payne, Chris McDowell, Steve Griffith, John Mark Purser, Mark Purser, McLain Overton, Charles Overton, and Barry Nelson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Eaves, Eddie McPherson, Don Rhodes, Ricky Tolleson, Danny Robinson, Brandall Lovvorn, Don Moore, and Jerry Stanford.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Bethlehem Methodist Church or The First United Methodist Church of Bremen.
