Roderick Dean Wilson

Roderick Dean Wilson, age 92, of Bremen, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025. He was born on April 19, 1933 in Bremen, Georgia, son of the late J.T. Wilson and the late Luvie 'Sharp' Wilson. Roderick was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He began his career at Sewell Manufacturing in the Payroll Department, then worked as a computer operator, later he worked in sales at Lowes. He was a member of Bremen First Baptist Church.
Roderick is survived by his loving wife, Betty Sue Jackson Wilson; children, Phil Wilson (Julie), Rhonda Smith (Barry), Carolyn Ayers (Kevin), all of Bremen; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Grizzard (Walter), of Florida; brothers, Ronald Wilson, of Bremen and David Wilson (Sheila), of Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, Roderick was also preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Wheeler; brother, Robert Earl Wilson; and granddaughter, Allison Wilson.
Visitation for Roderick will be on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at The First Baptist Church of Bremen.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November11, 2025 at 3:00 pm from the First Baptist Church of Bremen with Dr. Hunter Roe officiating and Pastor Doyle Jackson presenting the eulogy. Blake Wilson, John Smith, Keith Wheeler, Adam Wilson, Carter Ayers, Shepherd Bush, Daniel Richards and Zack Bush will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
