Julian Winford Muse

Julian Winford Muse, 91, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, at a local healthcare facility.
Julian was born on October 28, 1934, in Mt. Zion, Georgia, to the late Dewey J. Muse and Gladys Gentry Muse. He spent over 30 years as a dedicated foreman with Southern Bell / AT&T, where he was known for his strong work ethic and steady leadership. In retirement, he continued to serve his community through faithful involvement at Centerpoint Methodist Church.
Julian was a man of quiet strength and deep devotion - to his work, his family, and his faith. He and his beloved wife, Sallie, built a life marked by generosity, resilience, and love for their community.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sallie Bilbo Muse; daughters Jamie Muse, Jill Cook (Randy), and Julie Muse; and sisters Frances Hammond (Kenneth) and Marjorie Wallace (Wilmer).
He is survived by his grandchildren: Julian Stroupe of Woodstock, GA; Andrew Cook of Atlanta, GA; and Davis Cook of Atlanta, GA. He is also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Centerpoint Methodist Church, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Donald Stevens and Mr. Bill Tidwell. There will be a lunch provided after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks instead to make a donation to The American Kidney Fund, America's Warrior Partnership, or to Center Point Methodist Church.
