Janet Almquist Obituary
She was born April 29, 1946, in Lexington, Virginia, the daughter of the late Casper Atwood Gilbert and Ruby Mae Coffee Gilbert.
Janet was employed as a draftsman engineer for many years in the Highway Department.
She earned the civil service badge.
Janet was a Jehovah's Witness and a Bethel graduate.
She is survived by her brothers; Timothy Lee Gilbert and wife Prima, Michael Daniel Gilbert and wife Amelia; and a dog, Puppy.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband, John Kevin Almquist, and a sister, Susan Elizabeth Gilbert.
Interment will be in Craigsville Community Cemetery.
