Janet M. Beavers, 77, of Vandalia, IL, passed away December 23, 2024 at her home.
Per Janet's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Bond County Humane Society. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com.
Janet Marie Beavers was born on January 18, 1947 in Kearney, NE, the daughter of Wayne and Genevieve (Nosal) Beavers. She was formerly employed by the BD Sterilization Facility in Holdrege, NE and was later employed by Walmart. Janet enjoyed yardwork, playing solitaire, and her feline companions. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren and playing games with family during the holidays. She was a member of Mother of Dolors Catholic Church in Vandalia.
Ms. Beavers will forever be remembered by her son, Scott Crain of Vandalia; daughter, Barb and husband Toby Tackett of Brownstown; daughter, Tammie and husband Clint Murray of Vandalia; sister, Sharon and husband Gayle Larson of Hastings, NE; sister, Jeanne and husband Jerry Vonloh of Elwood, NE; grandchildren, Jeni Tackett, Levi Tackett with Kayla Burns, Kati and husband Drew Johnson, Kayla and husband Anthony Fladeland, Bayli Crain, Shane Murray and wife Jordan, Madi and husband Ross Althoff, Riley Crain, Keira Crain, and Ian Crain; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Keili, Kendall, Beckham, Hallie, Ace, Kennedy, Hayes, Kruz, Bladyn, Ryker, and Haisley; nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and her beloved feline companions, Punkin and Patty Sue.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
