Janet Lou Boelter, age 89, of Walker, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, just two weeks shy of her 90th birthday.
Born in St. James, Minnesota, on November 18, 1935, Janet was united in marriage to the love of her life, Marlyn Boelter, with whom she shared many wonderful years before his passing. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and laughter.
Janet was a devoted mother to Star Boelter (Darrell Smith), Wade Boelter (Natalie), and Carla Boelter (Jose Delacruz); cherished grandmother to Kelly MacFarlane (Mike), Rachel Hogan (Kirby), Christine Sulflow (Jake), and Mason Bruner (Meaghan Rapp); and loving great-grandmother to Kash, Karter, and Theo.
She worked for 20 years at Northern Lights Casino in Walker, where she was known for her friendly smile, caring nature, and dedication. Janet loved reading, spending time with her grandbabies, and living each day with a joyful heart.
Honoring her wishes, a joyous Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2026, where family and friends will gather to share memories and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
Her laughter and love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
