My heart goes out to you and your family during this time of loss. Though I only had the chance to meet Janet a couple of times, hearing her story and seeing the video compilation paints a vivid picture of an extraordinary woman who led a life filled with love, adventure, and purpose. She clearly left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered, from her dedication to teaching and homesteading to her unrelenting commitment to family.
How she and your father embraced life-building homes, nurturing their family, and cherishing each moment-is a beautiful testament to a well-lived life. Her legacy lives on through you, your family, and the stories you will continue to share.
May you find comfort in the love and memories that surround you. I hope you can feel how deeply she touched so many lives through your stories.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Amy

I am so grateful to have had Janet in my life. I will always treasure our times together on the porch in New Hampshire.

Dear Jay, and Booker Family,
I have vivid memories of your vibrant, Janet. She was gregarious and creative and truly helpful. We met through our shared love of A Course in Miracles. Perhaps what I learned best from her was not just a devotion to God but how to live in the world with that devotion, how to bring your passion into relationships and caring for others and to family. She was pure to me, not in an airy kind of holiness. But pure in truth.
I also remember her writings and stories. There too, she was passionate and I always wondered where she found time for all of it.
Deepest peace,
MaryBeth Scalice
