Janet Leigh Venable Caudle, 67, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024. She was born April 20, 1956 in Forsyth County to the late James Allen Venable and Jewell Hamlin Venable. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother. Kenneth Allen Venable. Mrs. Caudle enjoyed reading, making flower arrangements and she always made sure every family member’s gravestone had a new arrangement for each holiday. She dearly loved her family and she was a cheerful giver, always giving gifts and cards for birthdays and Christmas. Janet also enjoyed yard selling, looking for antiques to collect and sale, and she loved her K9 companions. She is survived by her husband, Warren Edward Caudle; her sons, Quentin Lee Caudle, Darren Blue Caudle (Holly); grandchildren, Keana Mooney, Landon Caudle, and a baby girl on the way; sister, Deborah Venable Stanley; brother Terry Ray Venable (Lisa); nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great nephews, and sister-in-law Teresa Diann Caudle. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church in Dobson. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kenny Gooden officiating. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Caudle family.
