Janet (Jane) Clark, 90, of Highland Lakes, Leesburg, FL passed away Monday, April 14, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dick Clark who was president of United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties. Together, they were a team dedicated to volunteerism and community service. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Sandra McLendon and son-in-law John McLendon.
Jane was born December 17, 1934 in Toledo, OH and graduated from Spencerian Business College in Cleveland, OH. She is survived by her children Wendy Jackson (Ross) of Leesburg, FL, and William Shepler (Kristin) of Howey-in-the-Hills, FL; two step-daughters Nancy Lepage of Taylor, MI and Carol Clark of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Travis Jackson, Samantha Shepler, and Melissa Shepler; step-grandsons, Christopher Lepage and Dorian Lepage; and great-grandsons, Xander Lepage and Vander Jackson.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 10:00am at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, 1123 W. Main Street, Leesburg, FL. There will be a private family interment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America.
Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home of Leesburg, Florida.
