Janet Colborne Obituary
Janet was a longtime member of Bethesda Christian Church and through the years was actively involved with the church and worked in the kitchen helping out with various events.
Beloved wife of the late Norman. Loving mother of Wayne and Norman (Janis). Dear sister of Freda (the late John) Peteuil. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Wallace Doskocz, Wanda Markowicz, Micheleane Lewandowski and Isabella Doskocz.
Visitation Wednesday 2-8 p.m. and Thursday 11 a.m. - 12 noon with a Funeral Service starting at 12 noon at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (west of Hoover) Warren. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be addressed in Janet's memory to The Alzheimer"s Association online at: www.alz.org/mglc or by mail at: Alzheimer's Association-Greater Michigan Chapter, 25200 Telegraph Road Suite 100, Southfield, Michigan 48033-7443

A Mother is likely to be the most formative person in our lives. I believe that to be true in your case, Norman. We did not know your Mom well, but we do know you and you reflect your mother’s teaching very positively. We think you turned out to be a man who has made differences in our world, and we love you. This reflects on your Mothers influence in your life.
It irs time for her to be at peace and with God! All our love goes to you and Janis, and to your Mothers family still living!
